Here's a picture of an 8 pt I shot on November 8th, Double lung shot at 20 yards. It's the biggest bow buck I've taken in 7 years of bowhunting. Gross's about 116"

I have to put a vote in for Rocket Steelheads. I've shot 4 bucks 2 does 1 fox and 1 turkey with them over the past few years and haven't lost an animal yet.

I've lost 2 deer from shots that that looked pretty good but I believe they were High and forward.

I've never lost a deer from hitting too far back...but they can survive those high and tight...

Gonna skip the archery opener (ontario county SZ) and take in a few days muzzleloading up in Fish Creek WMA by Black Lake. Hopefully the weather breaks by time I get back next week.

I couldn't take the frustration anymore. I switched to a NAP 2000 fall away.

Using some advice from BF above.. it took me about 15 minutes to tune in.

A staging area would be a place back from the feeding field edges where deer set up waiting for the right time to enter the feeding area.

I think your doe shooting assumptions are illogical. But I understand your reasoning. I ALWAYS hold onto at least 1 doe tag (NYS) with my name on it to keep me in the field until the last day...
