Now if I remember right the DNR will not controll the state parks next year so the park fee will not be going to them. (please correct me if I'm wrong on this) So here is more money lost for the DNR....

Well thanks for the help everyone! I ended up going with the T.C. Omega - Black through hole thumb stock with the stainless barrel. Now the fun part getting it set up so I can use it this weekend.

The R1 is the main gun that I'm looking at and with the comfortech stock it should be a joy to shoot. I keep hearing good and bad things about it though, not sure what to think.
