If the blades aren't sharp...and I mean scary sharp the bleeding isn't going to be good. I've seen plenty of perfectly shot deer not leave squat for blood trail even with a pass thru when the blades...

I like my Carbon Express Maxima's/Maxima Hunters, never shot Gold Tips but if you like them, why switch? I also love Easton ACC's, work awesome for me, and I shoot 26" @60# pretty close to you.
