RE: Predator Evoltion - good in a treestand in PA?

Evolution is not bad in oak stands. Like mentioned above, you can't go wrong w/ SG,FG, FB. Evolution is very versatile IMO.

RE: Goldtip inserts I need more

Be careful which ones you use. Standard GT inserts are .246. They had a limited run of Traditional and Hardwoods shafts that take a .244 insert. Good luck.

RE: Do turkeys gobble in the rain?

Yes! Get your self a Porta-roof umbrella and sit in/near fileds if you can. The hens will be out digging up worms and the gobblers will follow. Make sure you know your range b/c open areas can be...

RE: Who uses their harness while climbing?

When using a climbing stand, I use it will ascending/sitting/descending. With a fixed position stand, as mentioned earlier, you may have 6-7 more chances of falling while fumbling around branches.

RE: Want a better pattern?

RE: How many Pa hunters are pleased?

I'm sure the PGC can raise the license cost to get $ instead.

Here's my best buck. Also a memorable hunt. Very intense day of rutting activity. ~110" and ~140# (tape measurement). Allegheny county.
