I have not made a sound to stop a deer yet. I just wait for the chance. Slow walk or sometimes they stop to feed on leaves or whatever. It has worked great for me.

I was asking myself that same question this morning. During bow and ML season I could have taken chip shots at deer almost every time out. I have not seen a deer while hunting once general firearms...

It is notcold enough to hang deer here in VA , and we don't have access to a large cooler to hang deer. We quarter ours and soak them in salty ice water overnight then prepare for the freezer.

Son's first bass

I took my boy fishing yesterday. We dug up some worms, and were catching breams when this guy hit a wiggler. All I did was bait the hook, and he did the rest. Way to go son!!

Wearing a safety harness when in a tree stand will keep you hunting for many years.
