Don't load for the 7x57, but iffor loading the 6.5x55 for a boltaction I like 140 grain bullets with powders around IMR-4831's speed. Slower powders are definatly the way to go in the Swede.

Nope. Some newer Para-Ordnance models are DA, or "lightdouble action" or whatever they call it now, but the originals were ALL 1911 style single actions.

Yep. Hunt with or have hunted with Lee Enfields, Martini Henrys, Gw88, Mausers 1895, 1896, and 1898. French MAS 49/56, Various Mosin Nagants.Also trapdoor Springfields.

4x4s should be plenty to support the press. Use a couple of 4 or 6 inch "C" clamps and you should be fine. I would recommend using a towel or pad over the table first, to ensure domestic traquility.
