Loved my #1. Keep an eye out on the hinge pin though mine backed out and locked up. Had to have a new hinge put in and flared the ends so it wouldnt happen again. Congrats!!

Lots of SAND,Mesquite and Grease Wood but mostly sand.

Bring a good pair of optics with you this unit is pretty open.

Congrats on your draws. Unit 34 is a great spot about an our from my house nice big bulls. I seen alot of 360 to 380class bulls taken from there last year.

I figured it out. When they coated the barrel they also coated the bolt. I took and polished the lugs on the bolt and it helped. I will have to work it some more but with a little oil and polishing...

I use a 375 Big Bore on our Arkansas Hogs.

They never seem to do anything but drop, and It does'nt tear up alot of meat. That's the kicker.

I personally use a 175 gr. Horn. Interl. with 62.5 gr of RL22, Fed. 215 Primers. and it gets about 2850 over the Corn.

At 500 yards it still kills Oryx with one rouund.
