When a wounded deer is involved, I think there should be no yardage restrictions. Go for it. Take that 70 yard shot if you don' t mind loosing an arrow.

I test two bows, an ' 02 Martin Altitude with Magnum limbs and an ' 02 Martin Mv2 with Elite limbs.

At 69 degrees, the Altitude measured 64# and the Mv2...

I think everyone who thinks that dead spot is under the spine mistakenly thinks the backbone runs along the very top of the back. I think the dead spot is actually OVER the spine.

Nub is on to it. Can you or a friend see them fishtailing? You can not go by how straight they look in the target unless perhaps you are shooting at a heavy target bale that won' t budge on impact.
