I use 4451 and it has been an excellent powder. I have found it to be as temp stable as the Hodgdon extreams and is a great replacement for IMR 4350.

Hornady has data for T/C pistols as well as rifle data and it basically the same some powders show 1/2 gr. less for one or the other. Just start on the low end like you would with any load work up....

The longer barrel will be faster and the shorter one handier. Because of the action type the longer one will be ~length of a regular bolt rifle and the shorter one more of a carbine length.
