RE: Arrow Cutting

It depends on what glue was used to install them.

If it was hot melt, there is a real good chance that they can be reused. But if epoxy, goat tough or some others, it may be more trouble than...

RE: Ways to add weight at the business end....

Standard inserts that come with most arrows are 10 to 15 grains.

3 Rivers Archery has brass inserts available that are 50 and 100 grains. Their websitelists the arrows that they will fit.

RE: Where do you focus? Front sight or target?

Arthur, with all due respect, it is NOT ok to focus on the pin for target. I guess it's ok if you don't care if you hit the target, but if you want a good score, you better be focusing your eyes on...

RE: Center the Pin Guard in the Peep?

I agree with Len on this one.

One thing that all archers need to aim better is the ability to see. Most of us see better with more light, at least up to a point.

It's easier for most...

RE: Knock Down Power!

Knock down power is irrelevent to archery. First archery equipment doesn't have enough to do much and second because arrows don't kill with knockdown power, they kill by causing massive bleeding.

RE: is this jus me?

Since this is target panic, you won't get too much out of blank bale work. You need a target so that you can desensitize yourself to shooting at it.

Start with aiming without shooting. The main...

Check your bow's draw length. It is probably too long and you are having to turn your face toward the arrow and down in order to get a good anchor on the kisser.

There is also 452X.This is much thinner than 450, but is also a low creep string.

Another good point for 452X is that it fuzzes less than 450.
