54 caliber Knight Wolverine 1st time out

Bought an old Knight Wolverine a couple of months ago. Took it out today for the first time. Used Knight 300 grain bullets with the RED sabot. Only shot it 11 times. First 7 or 8 shots were good then...

RE: Mueller Scope on Huntsman?

As many of you all know the number of moderate to down right inexpensive scopes on the market now is bewildering. I have a NCSTAR 4 power EER (extended eye relief) on a Rissian Mosin Nagant carbine....

RE: Spirit of the Season

I collect a lot of military rifles and have come to see that if shoots okay don't sweat a pitted barrel. I have one that is a real sewer pipe and it shoots better than all the others I have. The...

Mueller Scopes have excellent reviews on the web. Use your browser and look them up. I'm going to try their MX-1 Red Dot.

RE: Plastic Fouling in Barrel

I'll shoot it and see how the accuracy is. If I can get good groups I'll just live with the fouling or whatever it is.

I have an old Russian military rifle that has a real sewer pipe bore, best...

RE: Plastic Fouling in Barrel

I bought this gun used and don't know if the previous owner used breech grease or not. I'll try the hot water. I used an ice pick to drag across the areas and felt no pits, etc. May be a stain.

Plastic Fouling in Barrel

I have something just ahead of my breech plug in a Knight LK93 Wolverine. It doesn't look like pitting or corrosion. I've tried Ed's red solvent, JB Bore Paste and a brass cleaning brush to no avail....

I know there are many of these rifles in use. I saw four in one weekend during deer season. What loads are you using in yours?

RE: This sure is a great site!

I fully agree. I've been out of Muzzleloading for over 30 years. Had a 58 caliber Zouave in those days from Navy Arms. Was a real hoot to shoot!! You guys are getting me up to speed pretty fast.

RE: Remington #11 Caps

I found a distributor for the RWS 1075 caps in Tulsa but he doesn't have any in stock. I'm trying to get him to order them and carry in stock. If it wasn't for the HazMat fee I'd order some online....

Knight Wolverine Caps

Found a local distributor for RWS 1075 caps in Tulsa. Also considering the 209 conversion. Going to use Tripple Se7ven powder. Which way should I go 209, CCI magnum caps, or RWS 1075 caps?
