Heck, I'm just a dumb ole' hunter that gets lucky every once in a while. I can be found on a field edge blowing one of those screaming peacock callers. Those things work, but the dog whistle works...

So the family and I decided to take a trip to PA in the Allegheny National Forest and as always we had a blast. We did a little fishing on the Clarion River and of course I did some turkey hunting....

Yeah, you said they were really gobbling and you were right on about that. I didn't hunt the area you were talking about. I stayed in Bloomington and then drove down to the Charles Deam Wilderness...

Will do bud. I haven't topped that 100" bird this year. He's getting mounted and should be done by July. I've got 5 birds getting mounted and he's amongst them. I wish I knew you were down there now...

I must say that Indiana has some of the prettiest country I've hunted. I really didn't expect the rolling hills, but they just pop up out of no where. I hunted just south of Monroe Lake on Charles...
