I use 100 gr 2-777 pellets and 295gr hollow point PB in my CVA optima. Have never had any problems. Have killed 3 deer with this combination.

VA Tech has land available to hunt on you have to get an application to hunt from either campus police or Blacksburg PD I forget which one it is. Im sure some one there can give you the information...

I leave mine in the dehydrator 5-6 hrs and it is just right. 12 hours may be a little too long. I marinate my venison in Hi Mountain Jerky Spice 24 hours in refridge before placing in dehydrator.
