Beautiful buck. Picture may be cropped, but that buck sure looks real. Arrows can stick in bone. IMO very likely a branch could havecaused the arrow to enter the deer at the angle we see.

Thanks. The area I hunt has limited access, so I'm able to get a good vantage point. The last thing I wanted to do was stomp through the timber and spook him.

I use the copperhead release w/strap. The strapenablesyou to tuck the release under the wrist strap.I find it useful when hiking through the woods or driving.

Watch the video clearly. You will notice an arrow above the dead deer on the ground. IMO, Doesn't seem that the buck killed anything. The doe squealling is probablywhat had the buck confused.
