Season opens Sept. 27th. Probably won't be able to do as much early season hunting this year with the due date being Sep. 28.... But I expect to hit the rut really hard!!!

I guess there are turkeys everywhere... My biggest problem is that I don't believe IA allows non-residents to hunt turkeys in the fall and I already missed the draw from the spring seasons...

That's a heck of a rub. I agree with Duke. Deer that I've seen shot in the brisket can bleed a lot. Did you find the arrow? Did it break off, was it a complete pass through, was it covered in blood...
