If you want permission do not show up with a quad. Let the land owner know at a later date that you have a quad (if you do). We've had land owners bring out the game with his loader backhoe rather...

Jason is right about everything he says. As Reb said when the deal is sealed and you've helped the owner for a few days then write up a formal permission and ask him to sign it to be carried around...

Find one place you want to hunt and that you KNOW HAS EVERYTHING YOU WANT. Let the land owner know that you are interested in bow hunting. Tell him you would love to help him a couple of days a month...
