TEmbry.....I concur, wholeheartedly about the weight. I actually think a little extra weight on a hunting bow is a good thing.;)

I bought my son a Guardian, last year ('08 model). It's a great shooter.....and he and I have no complaints with it, so far.

You'll love the bow. I agree it's a "tad" heavier than some other...
