Is the 300 wsm not a liitle better velocity & energy cartridge than the 30.06 and I am sure there has been many, many, grizzzly bears killed over the years with 30.06.

Hi Doe Dumper in answer to your question, recoil is more than a 30.06 BDL Rem I have, how much mabe 20% or a little more, but my 7mmwsm weighs 7 1/2 lbs where the 3006 weighs closer to 9lbs shooting...
