RE: Ok, how about ASAT camo?

Chuck, something wrong with that link. It takes you right back here :)

I can offer the following testament to the 3 d suit. It was the last afternoon of my 4 days in the woods, and I set up on a...

RE: Ok, how about ASAT camo?

I've worn mine twice now, and it is performing as advertised. Very quiet (after the washings) and easily slips over my outerwear. It is a net based garment, but the camo is on the net as well. As...

RE: Ok, how about ASAT camo?

Thanks Chuck. I'll keep checking in, and I'm really looking forward to using the suit this fall.

RE: Ok, how about ASAT camo?

Thanks, Ausie.

Hey Chuck, I assume you are in cahoots ( :) ) with Tim Lenartz. Any idea when you guys will have your web page done? I'm itching to read the tips articles you have links posted...

RE: Ok, how about ASAT camo?

Please tell me it is now much quieter than when you first got it. I just pulled the jacket out of the package, put it on, and it's pretty noisey. Did washing take care of this for you?

RE: Ok, how about ASAT camo?

Aussie, I just got my suit as well. Do you think drying it between washings is mandatory to remove the burning? I'd love to put mine through about 8 wash cycles tomorrow, but would like to skip the...

RE: Ok, how about ASAT camo?

That's odd. The guy I talked to, I think it was Tim, told me NOT to use the dryer, ever. He said to hang it to dry. Now I'm confused...

RE: Ok, how about ASAT camo?

Does it require drying in between each washing cycle? I'm thinking of putting mine in a 5 gallon bucket with water and detergent, letting it soak, hanging it to dry then repeating several times...

RE: Ok, how about ASAT camo?

Rob, could you elaborate on how many times you had to wash your 3-d suit and how you went about it to get the desired "leaf" affect? Mines on it's way, and they told me I'd have to wash it more, due...

RE: Ok, how about ASAT camo?

Just ordered a 3-d suit. Thanks again for the heads up, Rob. For those interested, they have a batch of the suits that had the 3-d layer burned a little more than usual during manufacturing, only...

RE: Ok, how about ASAT camo?

That would be great Rob. I'm looking to pull the trigger on a suit purchase very soon, would love to hear your experience first.

RE: Ok, how about ASAT camo?

Rob, did you bowhunt with the ASAT 3D suit? If so, did you have to modify it at all to prevent inteference with the string?

Thanks for the heads up on this stuff. I'm leaning it's way :)

Ok, how about ASAT camo?

This came up in the natural gear thread. Anyone using this brand of camo? The 3-d suit? If so, any problems while bowhunting? I'd love to hear about your take on it. Thanks.
