My Omega shoots flat based conicals very poorly (3-8 inches at 25 yards!) although it shoots cup based ones pretty well (powerbelts, FPBs, thors). The theory is that the very long QLA (about 1 inch)...

Well, I decided at worse, I would be no worse off than I am, so am having a gunsmith take an inch off my Omega. I don't have the right tools to be sure it is done right and he is only charging me...
