I would not get a semi-auto....Because of the trigger...The trigger on a bolt action can be adjusted or replaced...The trigger on a semi auto can be honed and polished, but it will never be as light,...

I know a bunch of guys that bought more gun than they need because they might go "Out West"...

I tell them...If I can afford the trip to go "Out West" I can afford another gun....

If you are just talking deer, a 30-06 is still much more than you need....Drop on down to a .243 and you will have no problems...Too many guys flinch and will never admit it...That's why they miss a...
