Yeah Guss. it seems there areis lot of memoroable equipment failure over the years. I remeber breakin' three rods on one fishing trip. OUCH!!.

you definately need to get a beginner book--it will help a lot. cabelas sells some great videos as well such as the 3M How to videos. One thing you can do is practice your knot tying while sitting on...
