Dan.. to be honest I really don't remember. I want to say like 190+ field dressed which put him about 220-230+ on the hoof. Something like that.

On another note gents..

I finally received the 2nd of the two bucks I took in 06'. So now he can join his brotheran on my walls.

This 4 1/2 yr. old was taken in late November of 2006...

I too would love to join a bunch of Dark Horses and go on a speed goat hunt.

However this year will be tough for myself also.. as I have vacations already set and too many weddings this fall...

I own a HVAC business with my oldest brother. We do mostly custom home new construction of about 3000-8000 sq. ft. some bigger.. pushing 12000-15000 sq. ft....

To be honest Fran.. I only hunt whitetail. I used to fish hardcore and do the occasional bird hunts with my dad.. but eventually it all faded away and I just have a BIG appetite for hunting...

Thanks gents.. that shed scored 70". Justin has a trailcam photo to the buck taken in 2005. That is my 3rd shed so far and 1 dead buck.. most deer are still packing still and I will not find for...

mcouey.. all that ever matters in hunting is whether YOU are happy with the deer you take. No one else matters. If a good 6 walks by.. and you want to take him.. by all means do. But do it for you.

That is a unique one Quick. I have a big fork who is actually a 2 yr. old this year who I see pretty often. He doesn't have 19 Mainbeams.. more like 15 or 16 at most. But he's got some real good...

Ya Quick. Mine was a very virgin stand. Just hung it 2 1/2 hours prior to the sit. I've never been afraid to just get up and move. Over the past several years I've killed over half of my best bucks...
