I would rather deer hunt, but there is nothing like having a nice big tom spitting & drumming and lighting the woods up at point blank during spring turkey season. I urge all of you to take it up......

I think I would pass on the -40 myself... i love shooting those dogs... just love seeing them dead. We only get a couple a year... just not that good at hunting them I guess...

depression from season being over is already kicking in... gonna head out ice fishing for pike & tiger muskies w/ a bunch of guys Sat. Drink some beer & cook some Moose meat up...

That seems to be a common theme this year guys... I did take my biggest buck ever, but on my local hunting grounds I came up short... one wound early w/ the bow... a miss... didn't see many deer at...

we took the track about 200 yards... no blood, no hair, no beds, etc... lots of fresh snow, so something would have shown.. stick sick.. at least it wasn't a racker!
Her tail was down though....

I missed a doe this afternoon w/ the MZ... about 70 yards in some stuff... I thought I hit her good... she ran away w/ tail down when the smoke cleared...
no blood... no hair... i just whiffed!

went out dark to dark yesterday... buddy shot twice and missed a couple of does. I hit a coyote... (i think i took out a hind leg). Other buddy missed coyote. Don't matter to me, as long as it dies...
