Definately unstring a selfbow--it will take a set if you don't.

Dunno if I'd take it that far...lol. Pretty sure BW says leave your bow strung, for the same reason already mentioned--most limb twists occur during stringing/unstringing. With most...

I unstring my selfbow after shooting, but not my longbow or recurve. Takes time for the string to settle back in, even with FF type materials.
