The 1-48 twist is fine for PRB as long as you don't use huge powder loads. They really aren't needed with a PRB.

I've read that the sidelock hunters are down to less than 10% of the total. That's still a lot when you consider there's 4 million ML hunters, but we're a dying group when you consider it used to be...

I suspect TC had nothing to do with this, but it's a decision from S&W.
