The Lupy VX-III's will
'run about $600 or more in those magnifications. The Lypy II's are in the $400 or more range.

I saw some 3x9x40 Bushnell Elites 4200 for $255 or less(I think) on E-Bay a couple of days ago. That is what I would go with in that price range.
