In one of the previous Handloader magazines there is an excellent write up on the 32-40 and bullets for it. Also know that in the back of one of my AA loading manuals they have several recipes for it.

NO doubt you could eventually find correct headstamped ammo for it. Your best bet would be to handload re-formed 30-30 brass, which is common as dirt and easy to work with. Have the gun checked out...
