I took a cow elk with it this fall. No shots on a deer yet, but that will change next season.

Yep, I hand build them. I have a machinest friend that makes the metal parts for me to my design and I buy the prod form a company that specializes in medieval crossbows, but the design and wood work...

Very similar, yes, but there are some subtle diferances in their machining points, and the extrusion...again, nothing you can really see till you get one in your hands.
