I just had time last night to get the picture and post it, had to get back out and get him in the freezer. We've got a little warmer weather coming today, so I can't let him hang like I'd prefer.

Well guys, today was a bust. Big surprise. I had a good time though, saw 5 does moving through the area, even had one that got curious and came over for a peek when I rattled.

Guys, the buck I was after this weekend was spotted this evening. The guy who's property I hunt saw him at 4:30 touching up a rub on a cedar. He estimates the deer to be 2.5-3.5 but he's only a 6...

I'm still hunting, my season is open until Jan 6. The weather this weekend was awful, 75 degrees and humid. I wasn't freezing my rump off, but I didn't see a single deer in 2 days of hunting. Going...

Congrats! I'd be perfectly happy with a buck like that. Unfortunately I have only seen one earlier in the season and I suspect he bought the farm during MZ season, because I haven't seen him since.

Don't we WISH he was that big! I got to go out Sunday afternoon. Wind was SSE, so my Honey Hole is VERBOTEN! I only go there with a North Wind.

I saw a doe with two fawns @ 45 yards, didn't...
