I just invested in some Scent Lok base layers. I've always used carbon and I believe it does help, although I also play the wind and use anything you can think of "scent proof".

Does not seem like a bad set up for the price. I used to shoot a Hoyt havoctec, which came out in about 2003 i think, and that bow was pretty fast. But for $60 does not seem like a deal you can beat....

Yeah it will scare deer for sure. If anything has a scent to it that is not natural to a deer there gonna think that something is up. But there are things that you can do, the thermal cell repellers...
