Use the thicker line as mentioned. I use the 400 lb. FF and works great for me. You could go to a spnner, but you will have to buy quite a few cases of them to last as long as the retriever.....LOL

It will take a bit to get used to. But I still have my retriever from 10 years ago and still works great, I only replaced the rubber wheel and line, that is about it.. You will never find a spinner...

Those arrows are the same as or are the yellow jackets that are sold on backwaterbowfishing.com and sullysbowfishing.com. They are great shafts and alot stiffer than the white and blue fiberglass...

I have one and every once in a while tyou will get a knot up. But as said just toss your arrow in the water before starting and I rarely have a problem with a retriever. But if you go with a spinner...

45# is fine out of a King Fisher recurve. My buddy has one and it works great. I shoot 35# out of my Oneida Osprey and it passes right though fish with a Muzzy tip, of course.

I have the Kingfisher and Coyote. The kingfisher is cheaper and is a good bow, but does weigh quite a bit more than the coyote and does have a small grip that tends to rub you raw on...

Just epoxy the head on and pin the tip by drilling though the existing hole and putting in a small roll pin or nail. I wouldn't glue paper together with Gorilla glue. I have found that glue to hold...
