RE: tred barta?

In a TV world littered with shows where these jerks hunt for "trophy bucks"on ranches that would cost us normal guys as much as the trucks we drive. Tred Barta's show is different and entertaining.

Newbie Q, draw length

Is draw length on a recurve as critical as with a compound?

I draw 29 inches at 64 pounds on my compound. I am in the market to pick up a recurve.

Then this means you have TWO zero's on your scope? One close where the bullet shoots out relatively "flat" then again down range when the bullet comes back down?

The reason I ponder this is...

RE: Climbing trajectory

Yeah I do realize that, I'm just refering to the term flat shooting that is used for the higher velocitycalibers that do not have so much drop at short to moderate ranges.

Why bother with bulk?

Bull shop and MMP sabots

500- 70.00 + sabots at 10 bags at 107.50 = 177.50/500= .355

Basspro, Traditions XTP by Hornady with sabots 9.99/30 after tax .36

Why bother?

Can a bullet/sabot or PowerBelt be pushed through the breech to unload without firing? My guess without trying would be no.
