We get somthing called golden spectra at the local elevator, I think its accualy a fly bait/poison. You pour it in to a frisbee or something with a similar shape and add a can of coke....the soda....

The tests I did show that the polymer tip bullet breaks up very fast, and doesn't have alot of penatration, so its ok for small animals, but the larger ones the cci hollow point worksALOT better

Check back a page or so on this forum, and I did some test with the 17, I think you can shoot a yote effectivly from 150, maybe even 200y out

I have some cool videos of the coffee can with water getting shot with both types of bullets, and it sends the can 8 feet in the air...pretty cool. So as the results look I would have no problem...

the first set is a cci hollow point, and a plastic tip bullet
the cci went right through the can, and the plastic tip didn't enen make it to the other side, it broke up completely. they both were...

at 50y i think any where in the lung, heart or head area will be good. Im going to do some test with mine this weekend, try to see how much penitrating power u lose from 30 y to 100, and 150y.

The differance in accuracy between a bolt or semi auto is very small, yes there is a differance, but the average shotter wouldn't even know the differance
