I have a 08 sabre as well. I like mine very much. Why did the pro shop set the bow at 50lbs? I have mine set at 60 and it definatly shoots better at the higher draw weight.

Try checking out some of your local wal-marts. They sometimes have their stands for really cheap. I picked up and older style greyback for only 70 bucks about two years ago.
