Try putting 5 or 6 dabs of glue along the fletch then spread out evenly with the tip of the bottle or with a toothpick. As far as wiping off the excess, after I fletch a vane I let it set...

Thanks for the input, a few years ago I did the same as you, I bought many different super glues and tried them all and my favorite has been the bondini. I havent tried that...
