I personally think that the felt recoil is pretty bad when using the premium rounds you probably would not want to shoot more than 20 rounds at the range and 40 rounds of the soft points considering...

Are you referring to the A1 or the A2? I don't know the characteristics of the A1 but I do know about the A2 and the A2 is not fully automatic. It's semi-auto or with the flip of a small switch...

Honestly, after I came to grips with reality you are better off with a Tikka. Trust me, the accuracy on Rugers bolt rifles how do I put this, they suck.

I have an 08 Diamond Black Ice and the birth cert states 298 fps with a 350 grain arrow at 70# and 29 inch dl.

My arrows should be in the neighborhood of 365 grains at 65# and a 28 inch dl.

Thanks for the info, that actually makes more sense now that I think about it some more. I'm going to take my arrows up to the ma and pa pro shop to have them cut anyway. I'll have my bow hunting...

I can't really say for the Hoyt but I chose Bowtech/Diamond because of the feel of the grip and the great support of the thumb rest and balance. It was a no brainer at that point. Matthews ain't bad...

I forgot to subtract about 24 grains if I end up shooting a 27" arrow. I'm back down to approx 365 grains, still past 350 which is minimal from what my buddies told me, but I don't know.
