Well I usually start drinking the night before around 6 or so, that way I can get at least 12 or 13 beers in me before I hit the trail sometime around 2 am. Then while I'm walking to my deer stand...

.308 all day long. I've never shot a deer with anything but a .308 and I've also never had a deer go more than 20 yards after being shot. :D
