My closest shot happened yesterday when i shot a Jake at about 5 yds, the hen was only 3 hens from me, i would of took the 2 toms behind the jake but i didnt have a shot at them and i was afraid that...

I GOT A BIRD THIS MORNING!!!!!!!! WOOTT WOOTT!!!! My first bird. Its a jake but its points for the team. It had .25" spurs, , 2.5inch beard and weighted 16lbs. the score is /............... 26

Ya for the first 10 days ill be hunting in upstate NY where i goto college then I go back home to Just south of Rochester where the gobblers get 21lbs. on avg. Sucks though that we have a later...

Ya i use a smooth bore in my Remington 870 and i use a Improved cyclinder, u should use rifled slugs also. the only thing about a smooth bore is that the slug is only accurate to about 35yards but...
