I have oneon a Rem 700 (270 cal) that I bought over 20 years ago, is usedevery deer seasonand is still holding up. At that price you'll be happy for a long time.

Thanks guys for the info. After looking closer at the gun if its going to be too tight I can move the current bases ahead about 1/4" and the scope forwardsome and that will get me in there.

I concur with North Texan, I shoot the same loads and they are the best grouping I have loaded so far(Tikka T-3 lite). As far as coyotes go I have shot 5 with it and withno hide damage.

Omega load

Have a Omega 50 cal. (ss hardwoods) and would like some ideas on some loads, the ones I have tried are not all that great. Been shooting Pyrodex powder 150 gr with Powerbelts 295 gr and win 209's....
