We have lots of them here in Eastern Washington...but I have never seen one...I have seen a couple of the deer they have killed. I think the coyotes are a greater threat to the deer however.

I know from experience that a neck shot is not fatal.....this is what happens when things go wrong. I shot this buck the day before, it was warm in the afternoon and the snow was melting and dripping...

I am not sure about the bigger 6 volt batteries, but I can tell you that the solar panels extend the battery life out to a month or more for me.

Actually, when I look closer at the picture I see that all three of the deer in the front are photoshopped into the photo....interesting. A tall tail sign on the far right deer is the right front...
