i always smoke before i hunt but i do't smoke on stand anymore (why risk it?). in the past i've put a cigarette out and shot a deer less than a minute later. my dad has killed more than one deer...

i'm using vortec broadheads for the first year. my buddy swears by them, says he shot four hogs and several more deer with the same broadhead and arrow without damage. they are expensive($35 x3) but...

i've got a boonie hat that i call my ugly hat. i smash it up into the worst configurations to better break up my outline. i've shot more deer wearing an ugly hat so it's obviously lucky!

when you put out corn, do the smart thing and spread it out like chicken feed. its more natural for the deer to eat it like its acorns(plus it will take them longer to finish it off), and if you do...

they obviously did that knowing that you would be displeased, thats why you found out what they shot from somebody else and not them. they may be taking advantage of you if you are a younger guy....
