Christine; I'd have to go w/ Brenneke also, except that that rifleing fins on yours are in pairs, and the photo of the actual Brenneke slug are singles. Perhaps an older style Brenneke ??

I love partridge hunting, a trick I use is to always make noise w/ my feet while walking. You can pretty much get within 10 or 20 yards by doing this believe it or not. Once you stop making noise...

Been hunting Sommerset Res in Vt. I don't do any Ma. Lots of sign, especially moose, I'll have to put in for a permit next year. I havn't hunted Ma in about 10 years, can't deal w/ the whole shotgun...

I used to have a Chuckster. Never took it apart, just removed the action from the stock and blasted it out w/ choke & carb cleaner and re-oiled it. Great little gun.........
