Well, while it may not be recommended, you can kill pretty much any game on the planet, with a .223 in the brain, however, I am not sure as to the legality of what you are wanting to do, go to the CA...

Well, I bought my .338, because it has ballistics similar to the .300 Win Mag, and hits quite a bit harder. I could care less if I ever go to Canada, or the like, the .338 Win mag is an excellnt...
