The crate is already really small. I have a divider and made the crate just large enough for her to fit in. I know all about dogs not wanting to dirty themselves. That is why I am a little concerned.

I found a safe and easy way to solve the problem. They sell a product for this exact problem. They are little pads that have a safe ingredient on them to wash away the stains. It takes about 3-5 days...

I have actually decided on an English Setter. My friend I hunt with has 2 exceptional Setters that I have hunted with alot. They are the perfect Grouse dog. I am not sure where all these people get...

Well they are but since I hunt Grouse 4 times as much as duck I am leaning more towards a pointing dog. I don't have the room for another dog so I have to try and find a happy medium.

I live in Michigan and want to look into a new dog. I am interested in a GSP but not sure how they work in cold water. Are they ok in cold water for waterfowl hunting?
