I recently purchased a used Mathews Switchback that is 30in and 70lb. Just curious what grain arrow I should shoot and I would assume a 31 in arrow would be good?

Me personally I think these sightings are Lynx but I am not going to say Cougars definitly aren't around b/c I don't know that, a conservationist with a 4 yr degree doesn't makethem 100% either.

If I were you I would check out the Roscoe, Downsville area. All you would have to do is get on 87N get off exit 16 and take Route 17 (Future I86) West into Roscoe. They have a lot of stateland and...

You won't know where to hunt until you spend more time in the area. Signs of where the animals are will tell you more than a map. Personally I would use this map along with signs of Rubs, Scrapes,...

Does anyone know of any bow shoots in Central, Upstate, or Southern Tier NY. I just went to the one at the Oxford Gun Cluband it was great. Looking to do more.

Using dogs is a lazy way to hunt deer, I say the same thing for hogs. However if a ton of hogs are tearing up farming land then they need to be dealt with however.
