I thought those were suposed to be bonded bullets? It looks like you had some jacket separation from the front lead core seeing that it's missing. Even so they obviously do the job...

The 44mag is great but don't discount the 357, my dad and I have put a lot of dear in the freezer with it. As a plus its real cheap to target shoot as you can use 38s in it. Good luck choosing.
