RE: .300 Win Mag vs. .243

I don't know where you base your facts, but they are not on reality, I have no relations to MagMan, other than the fact that I registered the same day he left or whatever.

RE: Reloading

I don't necessarily miss the point, reloading just isn't for me, if a guy likes it then cool, he can load whatever he wants, but as for me I'm gonna stick to mainly factory.

RE: .300 Win Mag vs. .243

No I wasn't trying to make a point, I just started shooting over a year ago, I thought the .243 was based on the 7mm mag case?

RE: tac driver

Right, an accurate rifle doesn't necessarily pertain to what caliber it is, but more to what you can shoot comfortably and hit what your aiming at with.

RE: Reloading

Find a good, cheap, factory load that your gun likes and stick with it. The only time to reload would be for like the 45-70, when facotry ammo can't match the performance you can, or if you want to...

RE: .30-06 vs. .338 win mag vs. 300 win mag

.338 Factory ammo is also quite expensive, often in excess of 35$ a box. I just can't see paying that kinda money for a non- big bore.

RE: .30-06 vs. .338 win mag vs. 300 win mag

For bear or bison I would like a .458 or larger diameter bullet with a suitable SD. That is why I have a 45-70 and 500 S&W Handi Rifle, so I could go on a bison or big bear hunt. :D

New To Forum and Question

My question is, my friend has thrown up the idea of reloading for my .300 Win Mag, however, I do not want to, because I have found a cheap factory load that shoots well in my gun, what do I tell him?...
