Well this morning I had 4 does eating my hay down by the barn. Tractor and atv was 10 yards from them. My horses where 30 yards away and just watched. Season opens tomorrow, but I don't hunt at home....

[8D] I would love to printthis all out and hang it at the local Sport Shop. 300 to 400 yard shot is as common as tying your shoes. Anybody that hunts in open praire agree with me?

Alot ofgood points. Terrain dictates. When I started hunting I got stuck in an open 200 acre hay field on a round bail. If you couldn't get off a 300 400 yard shot. Might as well go watch the vikes...

I seen the reponse for MN. I am in the intensive harvest zone, so I get tags for buck and 4 does. I donate the 4 to the needy. There are so many deer where I hunt that it needs to be thinned out....
