My bad...wanted to say I don't hold my breath (the same gasping breath taken to go under water) to take a shot. This method just slows down my breathing and helps me relax to take the shot.

I inhale long and slow for about 4 sec, hold for about 4 sec, exhale slowly for about 4 sec...repeat. I never hold my breath. It helps me to remain steady.

I've always heard that the closer to the nock the better, with-in reason. I've also heard that your fletching shouldn't touch your face when you're at full draw. I use 2" blazers and they're 1/2"...

I see mine most of the time. I use white blazers with a white nock (bow shooting 242 fps). I personally try to watch mine thru my sight all the way to the target,this helps to keep me from dropping...

Tubeless, no problems so far...didn't like the idea of a stretched (even slightly stretched) rubber band pointed back at my eye. Plus, my bow seems to be shoot quieter without the tube.

The arrows I currently shoot are Carbon Express Terminator Lites (4560's). They're 29" long and I want to cut them down to 27 1/2" long (my draw length is 28" and I shoot thru a whisker biscuit)....

That's the way I fletch mine, and have no problems. In my opinion, as long as you use a release you should be ok. The only reason to fletch farther from the arrow end is if you shoot with fingers.
